First Impressions: Pani Poni Dash!

Ok so I started watching PaniPoni Dash! earlier with my friend and I've only watched 2 episodes so far but it's actually really funny, at least for my tastes. It's completely random and nothing makes sense...AT ALL.

I mean really, there's this creepy Maneki Neko (Lucky Cat) thing living in all the vending machines claiming he's God. Then he says in a seductive voice "The cans are warmed by my body heat" and repeats "They're warmed by my body heat" over and over...its a little creepy lol, but its funny.

Some of the characters, mainly the girls in the 1C class are kind of bitchy...especially the orange haired nerdy girl and the girl w/ black hair and glasses (I can't remember all their names yet). Ichijo is just...creepy, I mean it always seems like she's trying to kill somebody...usually with dango so far. And as for Himeko...she's like...I don't even know, she's got a creepy hair antenna, she says maho all the time, I guess the best way I can describe her is like a cross between the typical loudmouth girl (like Tomo of Azumanga Daioh, Saya of Bamboo Blade, Kagura of Gintama or Hiyonoo of Spiral) and a Valley Girl.

I actually have pretty high hopes for this anime so far, honestly the only thing thats got me a little skeptical is the freakish alien things that u see watching over Becky from their space ship every so often in an episode. I just hope it doesn't wind up getting ruined and turned into some freakish sci-fi "OMG ALIENS ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD HOLY SH**!!!! THEY'RE GONNA VAPORIZE US ALL OMG BECKY SAVE US!!!" yeah that would just completely ruin it cuz not only do I hate Sci-Fi, but aliens taking over the world w/ only 1 person who can stop them is annoyingly cliche and just pure blech.
So yeah, other than the creepy alien robot creepish things, this seems like it should be a funny show, I need something really funny to watch after I stopped watching Gintama due to their story becoming arc-based and boring...though maybe I'll pick that up again, who knows.
Though one question: The fandom of PaniPoni Dash!, why is it that so many pictures try to make pre-pubescent little Becky seem sexy? Like in a skin-tight cat suit. I mean really? Are that many people into lolicon?
